Musician Application Information

All applications must be approved by the Arts and Music committee.

SITES

There are four stage locations:
- Rotunda Stage
- Eucalyptus Stage
- Bonsai Garden Stage
- Folly Stage

DAYS & SHIFTS:

Days
- Saturday ( Aug 8th)
- Sunday (Aug 9th)
Shifts
- Morning: 9 am to 11 am
- Midday: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
- Afternoon: 2 pm to 4 pm

Once your application has been approved we will discuss potential locations with you. We cannot guarantee you will get the spot that you request.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

Arts & Music in the Gardens at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific is dedicated to providing a safe and harassment-free environment for all guests, musicians, vendors, volunteers and staff. This means that we will not tolerate harassment or abuse of guests, vendors, volunteers, or staff in any form. Anyone who fails to comply may be asked to leave by our staff.

All musicians must use polite and professional language when informing us of any issues or conflicts that may arise.
As Arts and Music in the Gardens is a fundraiser, please be aware that this is a volunteer opportunity. Musicians are welcome and encouraged to busk and/or sell their music and merchandise.

By submitting your application, you agree to the above and understand that failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the event and/or being denied space at future events.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:

Visibility: Last year, the Gardens welcomed over 1,500 attendees in just one day. We are anticipating over 2,500 attendees throughout the weekend this year.
Engagement: This is a highly anticipated event for the community and our HCP members. Volunteers and staff are dedicated to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Wifi is available in the Gardens. However, some areas in the Gardens may not have good coverage.
Arts & Music is typically hot and sunny, but in previous years we have also had wind and rain. Please make the necessary preparations for all weather conditions.
